FROM THE PAGE TO THE STAGE
Join us for an electrifying night where words leap off the page and into the spotlight! From poetry to playwriting, spoken word to performance art, this event celebrates the power of storytelling and artistic expression.
Transforming Words into Action
We are taking poetry beyond the page and bringing it to life through dramatic readings. This is an opportunity for 10 creative individuals to collaborate with a master writer in a transformative workshop. Together, participants will explore the depth of poetic expression and craft engaging performances.
We will look at the works of influential writers such as Akiba Shabazz, Etheridge Knight, Nikki Giovanni, and Amana Ajanaku, drawing inspiration from their powerful words and unique voices.
